Professional Journey

Howdy, and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet! I’m Richard Maus, an Architect with a deep-seated passion for cloud computing, data, security, and software development. Over the years, my career has taken me on a fascinating journey through various roles, from serving as a Communications Specialist in the United States Marine Corps to my current position at CrowdStrike, Inc. Each role has given me broad exposure to a variety of technologies and designs.

What I Do

My expertise lies in designing secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and applications. I particularly relish opportunities to incorporate automation into these designs. I firmly believe that modern software factor principles have revolutionized the tech industry, fundamentally transforming how applications are developed and deployed.

Beyond Work

When I’m not heads down in tech projects, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors—hiking, fishing, and reading are some of my favorite pastimes. I also love spending quality time with my family. As a staunch advocate for continuous learning, I enjoy mentoring those who are new to the tech industry.
